Warranty & Disclaimers:
Toughstuff warranties workmanship and materials for all installations and applications of coatings, toppings, overlays, sealers, etc., against adhesion failure for one full year from the date of completed installation; unless otherwise noted. Efflorescence, blushing, water blisters, and/or delamination caused by excessive moisture vapor pressure are conditions of the concrete and are not covered by warranty.
Please note that concrete staining / dyeing produces color effects that are unique to each surface. Wide variations in color, mottling, and unevenness are to be expected. The natural components and common application practices of the processes produce a finish that is inherently flawed and imperfect. Colorations / discolorations are likely to occur. These include but are not limited to streaking, spotting, sprayer marks, brush marks, color rings, trowel marks, etc. At Toughstuff Industrial Floors we strive to produce the best possible product each time we step onto a job. However, due to the nature of the products and the processes, there is absolutely no guarantee on color or appearance of colorations / discolorations in decorative concrete.
Please note that concrete stain is corrosive. If possible, concrete staining should be scheduled prior to placement of sensitive materials (i.e. stainless steel, paint, unsealed tiles, grouts, etc). Toughstuff would supply labor and materials to mask and protect these areas. However, Toughstuff will accept no responsibility for damage done to these areas as a result of stain breaching the protection since it is possible for these sensitive materials to actually whisk corrosive stain under and around masking. For this reason, Toughstuff suggests to our customers that they may wish to mask and protect, or remove, anything or any finish that is of particular concern prior to Toughstuff's scheduled start time.
Please note that adhesive tape should not be adhered directly to concrete floor finishes; especially those which feature decorative concrete stain. If placement of adhesive tape is absolutely necessary, only low-adhesion, safe-release tape should be used and great care should be provided to ensure that the tape is removed in a timely manner so as not to cause damage to the finish. Attention should also be provided to limit the amount of direct contact to the adhesive tape as the result of foot and construction traffic. Damage to decorative finishes from tape is not covered by warranty.
